Where does Joel live? 134 Ploppert Rd, Sunbury PA 17801. GPS will often take people to my neighbor’s house. If you are at the bottom of a hill and can’t really see the house from the road, you are at the wrong driveway. My driveway is nearly at the top of a hill and you can see my ranch style house from the road. The mailbox has number 134 on it. I will also have a sign out at the end of the driveway that says “The Spanglers” on it.
What should I bring? If you have a comfortable camp chair please bring it along. If you don’t have one, we’ve got plenty of extras that you can pick from. I’ll have sodas, water and some simple food to make over the fire like hot dogs, marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. You’re welcome to bring something to share, but don’t feel obligated.
Topic for this gathering “Tell a story about a time God answered a prayer.” This is for the introverts, to give them a bit of time to reflect on what they might say. Some of us don’t do well with “on the spot” topics, so having a topic will hopefully help those less comfortable talking in groups.
